2017 June Collection - Sneak Peeks Day

Happy Monday!  Thanks for stopping by.  We're releasing our June Collection a bit early this month due to the Memorial Day holiday.  We've got three FUN stamp sets for this release and I will be revealing one stamp set each day.  We'll be doing a giveaway each day where you'll have a chance to win the featured stamp set so be sure to post a comment each day to enter.  Let's get started!

Today's stamp set is called Let's Be Mermaids and it is AWESOME!  This set, designed by Nina, is FILLED with fun stamps and great sentiments. A matching die set is available.

This first card designed by Melissa features the two adorable sea horses, the heart and the sea you soon sentiment from this set.

This next card by Lisa features the sweet little mermaid in this set and one of my fave sentiments: "When all else fails, be a mermaid"  

I love the way she has the other elements floating in a circle around the mermaid and the twinkle stickers are the perfect finishing touch!

I've got one more card from Emily that also features the mermaid. Emily's created a fun shaker card using the Tag bundle die set and it's the perfect setting for our little mermaid! 

Mermaids should always sparkle!

One of my favorite things to do when I lived in Seattle was take my girls to the beach at Carkeek Park.  We loved finding colorful beach glass and Emily's card is a fun reminder of these beach adventures!

You may have spotted the gorgeous new washi tape on Melissa's eggs above.  We have TWO new Washi Tape Assortments for April: Spring Floral and Spring Slim.  The Spring Floral set includes 4 different floral washi tapes of varying widths.  The Slim Washi assortment includes two 8mm rolls.   They are PERFECT for spring!

 

I love pairing the Stitched egg dies with the new washi tapes.  Quick and easy!

April Collection - Sneak Peeks Day 2

Welcome back!  Today I'm sharing an awesome new Candy Package die and another fun stamp set from Nina!  Keep reading all the way to the end for tons of inspiring ideas and another chance to win!

BUNNY CANDY PACKAGE

Our Candy Package dies are popular!  Treats and paper-crafting seem to go hand-in-hand.  Our new Bunny Candy Package is going to make you jump up and down... it's THAT cute!

You can cut them out of Sugar white cardstock and dress them up with a bit of baker's cording...

You can cut them out of patterned cardstock, like Lisa did.  

Check this out... it's genius!  Lisa used a lollipop inside and attached the banner to the stick.

 

I also love how she added the mini bow dies... as a bow tie and also as a hair bow.  

 

Melissa added googly eyes and a pearl sticker for the bunny tail.  

 

Of course, they can be used on your cards!  I love how Emily used the negative image of the bunny on her card.  Gotta love the yummy new cardstock too!

I love how Lisa has the bunny peeking in this card.  

 

The bunny also makes a great embellishment for 3-D projects like this mini popcorn basket.

 

HAPPY SPRING

This sweet stamp set has a sweet price point - only $12.99.  It's a great standalone set but works really well with the Sweet Easter stamp set.  A matching die set is available.

This set includes a larger version of one of the bunnies and one of the chicks from the Sweet Easter set.  This card, by Ilina, show's you the size difference.  The bunny is from the Happy Spring set and the chick is from the Sweet Easter set.  Pretty cute, right?

This clean and simple bunny card is perfection!  

I love how Melissa added the mini bow in Grass Petite Gingham Cardstock.

I love the polka dot egg in this set.  It works great with our grass die!'

April Collection - Sneak Peeks Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the April Collection sneak peeks!  I'm super excited about this release because it features new stamps from our founding artist - Nina!  Nina was my neighbor in Seattle (we lived five doors apart) and I just love her sweet illustrations.  This release is all about SPRING and Easter and I hope you're going to love it.

Today I'm sharing a new stamp set and a new collection of A Muse Studio cardstock!  I also excited to share design work from our brand new Design Team so I hope you will encourage the team with comments on their awesome work.

SWEET EASTER 

This new stamp set is the perfect set for Spring and Easter.  Of course, you can use the images for lots of other occasions too.  This set includes 27 stamps - so much to LOVE!

Check out these bunnies.  So cute!  Each is an individual stamp.

Have fun pairing the chicks and bunnies together for endless possibilities. I love how Ilina added the paper doily and A Muse Studio pearls.

Sweet Easter also includes some fun flowers.

The chick from our Tiptoe Through the Tulips stamp set looks adorable stamped in Bermuda gingham.

It wouldn't be an Easter set without some eggs and grass, right? Emily deserves major kudos for fussy-cutting the basket and eggs for this card because the dies had not arrived in time for ship to her.  You're gonna want the matching die set... just sayin'!

Lisa also deserves kudos for her fussy cutting as well!

 

 

How many new cardstock patterns/colors did you spot?  There are eight new ones in our Herringbone (Bermuda & Melon), Stripes (Bermuda & Grass), Gingham (Bermuda & Grass) and Scallops patterns (Bermuda & Melon).  Yes... you read that right - BERMUDA GINGHAM!

Love Story Journaling Card Kit - February Freebie!

Hey friends!  I'm excited to share with you an awesome new Journaling Card Kit - Love Story - that is a Freebie this month.

Here I used our Fishtail Tag die to cut out the heart & arrow image. The Happy Valentine's Day sentiment is from our Essential Sentiments Too stamp set.  I am LOVING our new Herringbone cardstock!

Here's a fun card for your sweetie!  I stamped the Redwood Background in Seattle ink.  The hearts are from our Scallop Heart die set.  

This next card is simple and sweet!  I cut the circle from our Stitched Circles die set.  The pinked circle is cut from a piece of cardstock that was first wrapped with the pink mini hearts washi tape from the Mini Heart Duo Washi tape assortment. 

This sweet card is going in my scrapbook.  Crafted, The Art of The Taco, is one of our favorite spots for a date night!  We used to have to drive 30 minutes or so to Greensboro, NC but they just opened one in Winston Salem.  yes!

These are one of my favorite things to make... heart sandwiches!  There are all kinds of heart foil-wrapped chocolates in stores right now.  Use our Scallop Heart dies to make sweet sandwiches.

Tell Your Story in 2017

Scrapbook.  Merriam Webster defines Scrapbook as:

a blank book in which various items (as newspaper clippings or pictures) are collected and preserved

This sounds like a simple-enough description...  something that can easily be accomplished, right?  Yet for some reason, we seem to make this much more difficult. We've got photos everywhere (phone, tablet, camera, computer) but no longer seem to print them. Getting photos into an album seems to require a Herculean effort these days. Right?

Last year I tried to make a page/week album.  52 weeks.  7 photos per week on average.  364 photos.  This was going to be EASY... or so I thought.  It turns out that some weeks I had a LOT more than 7 photos and other weeks I had none.  Some months I was on top of my project and other times life got in the way.  It left me with an album that is half done and a feeling that I somehow failed.  Oh la la!

For twenty seventeen I am taking a different approach!  I'm going to simply add photos for every month. If I have 7 photos - great!  If I have even more - yippee! To make this easy, I've created a  3" x 4" journaling card for each month plus a 6" x 8" cover page for my album.  I've also created some "everyday" type 3" x 4" journaling cards that I can use throughout the year.  I made these to share with my local Crafty Ladies scrapbooking group (we try to meet monthly) and thought you might enjoy being part of our group too - virtualy!
