It's countdown time again!
We are counting down the days to the release of the A Muse Studio October Monthly Collection. If you're new to A Muse Studio, our Monthly Collections are a curated collection of products that generally includes three to four stamp sets, dies and other accessories. These products are designed to coordinate with products in our main catalogs to offer you even more creative options and extend the life of the A Muse Studio products you may already have.
Today marks the start of our countdown to the October Collection. I will be revealing new stamp sets and products over the next four days leading up to the release on October 1st. I'll also be doing a fun giveaway so be sure to stop by tomorrow for the details on that.
Any Other Night
Today's Sneak Peek features a great new Halloween Stamp set called Any Other Night. This set includes 5 stamps and a matching die is available. The star of this set is a fabulous witch on a broomstick that is going to be perfect for all of your Halloween treats, cards and crafty projects!
I love to make treats for the administrative staff at my daughters' schools and our pillow box die gets a LOT of use. I cut a tag using Vanilla cardstock and our fishtail tag die. To give it a vintage look, I wiped our Wheat ink pad across. To give the witch a bit of extra punch, I used the quickie glue pen and our super sparkly Onyx glitter. Easy peasy!
This set comes with a large circle stamp that is perfect for creating a moonlight scene. Here I painted A Muse Studio Marigold Splash directly onto the circle stamp and then stamped it onto regular A Muse Studio Sugar cardstock. I love this look! It just takes a minute for the Splash! ink to dry but if you are in a hurry you can hit it with your heat tool. I added some sequins from our Trick or Treat mix from our Holiday Catalog. Happy Halloween is from the Spooky Girlfriend set found also found in the Holiday Catalog.
TIP: I like to use a tiny bit of Mono Aqua glue to add sequins to my papercrafting projects.
It's no secret! I *love* our Candy Package dies and love finding new ways to use them. For this next project I layered the Scalloped Candy Package die with the Candy Package Two die. Inside this package are three Pixy Stix. I adhered the Pixy Stix to the bottom layer using washi tape because it's decorative and fun and won't damage the packaging of the Pixy Stix leaving a sugary mess!
Here's a fast & easy card. The "branches" were made using the stems from the Stained Glass Poppy stamp. I can't take credit for this idea... it's from the genius mind of our Creative Director, Heather. Trick or Treat is from the In The Shadows Stamp set and the patterned paper is one that I designed a few years ago called Sleepy Hollow.
When it comes to gift and treat packaging, we've got you covered! We sell clear bags in many different sizes. It's fun to dress them up to match any theme or color scheme.
I've saved my favorite card for last. To make this card, I cut a circle in the card front using one of our circle dies. I then cut a stencil with ng the same circle die to use on the inside of the card. I lined up the two circles and used washi tape to keep the stencil in place. I then directly applied A Muse Studio Melon ink to the inside of the card using my stencil. Before removing the stencil, I stamped a couple of bats over the big moon I created. Spooky cool, right?
I hope you've enjoyed today's sneak peek. I'll be back tomorrow with more sneak peeks and a giveaway!
Happy stamping!
That witch with a broom is perfect for Halloween festival, love all the adorable creation with awesome gifting ideas!
