Woohoo! It's FRIDAY! Who else is excited?! This was my girls' first week back at school and I find it so hard to get back into the swing of things... especially the early mornings.
Let's kick off the weekend with Day 4 of our Catalog Countdown. Today I've got some Holiday-themed stamp sets & a new die to share.
Over the years we have had many different snowman stamps and they are always fun to create with. Who can resist a sweet snowman? Our new Flaky Friends stamp set does not disappoint! It includes 4 snowmen with many accessories - hats, mitts, scarf, snowballs, 4 sentiments and more! There are 18 stamps in total. A matching die set is available.
This little guy sure looks like he's having fun! We call him "break-dancer".
This fabulous card is featured on the front of the Holiday Catalog. The glittery background really pops. You'll definitely want to pick up some of the new 6" x 6" glitter paper we've added. It's not like any other glitter paper you've seen! This microfine glitter paper can be stamped and colored. The blue background on this card was created by using 3 different COPIC blue markers and some basic blending. Pretty fabulous!
Add dimension to your snowmen with A Muse Studio Onyx pearl stickers!
This snowman fits inside our snow globe die! How fun!
Make a cute tag!
Make a snowy scene using Bermuda ink, a sponge dauber and then add some mono aqua adhesive dots and Diamond glitter. There's the new Basic Banner die again!
This is another sweet addition to our Girlfriend team. This set includes 4 tiny snowflakes and a handscripted Merry Christmas sentiment.
Isn't she sweet?
She's fun to color and also paper-piece.
I just love her!
TREE TAG DIE
This new die will make your holiday gift wrapping fast and fab! Measuring 1 3/4"w c 2 1/2"h this die is great for holiday cards. It would also be a fun place card for your holiday table... mount it on a toothpick and use a spice drop to hold it in place. Sweet!
Here I used the die to make a window. To add color to the tree, I simply applied Bermuda ink directly to the white card base. Unfortunately it's difficult to see how soft & pretty this looks in real life. The sentiment is from the new Holiday Cheer stamp set and is gold embossed on white vellum.
This last set for today is a great sentiment set that I know you're going to love. There are large script words and lots of smaller type sentiments to pair them with. 27 stamps in total.
These sentiments are fun to layer over backgrounds. For this card, I created a background using three different ink colors (Blueberry, Bermuda, Mermaid) and applying them to the card front using sponge daubers. This is a fun technique. A Muse Studio pigment inks dry quickly but when you apply them with a dauber you can stamp over them right away. I die cut a pretty snowflake out of vellum from our Snowflake Trio 2 die set and added a vanilla pearl sticker and a few 4 mm Mermaid sequins.
This last card is quick and easy and I love the vintage vibe. The sentiments are stamped with Mermaid and Grapefruit and I added some of our new Peppermint Baker's twine for a finishing touch.
That's all for today! Thanks for sticking with me for these lengthy sneak peek posts. There's just too many fun things to share. It would be much easier if you could all come over to my craft studio!!
Have a great weekend. I'll be posting again tomorrow and Sunday if you're online.
