Happy Monday, everyone. I hope your week is off to a fabulous start! It's a gloriously sunny day here in North Carolina and the birds are singing. Just lovely.
Today's cards feature the Just Because stamp set. It's a nice little set that includes 3 images and 2 sentiments for only $12.99. If you don't already have this one in your collection, I highly recommend it.
Let's take a look at some fun ways to use this set. This first card is an easy one-layer card that you can make in a snap! I stamped the greenery in Lime ink across the bottom of my card. I then used watercolor markers to color the flower and stem. I misted the stamp lightly with water a few times and then added it to my garden scene. I added the butterfly in Buttercup ink and the sentiment in VersaFine Onyx black ink. Super fast. Love it!
The floral image in this set is fun for all sorts of techniques. Here I inked my stamp once and stamped it three times. (See the image below for a closer look.) I inked *only* the head of the flower, masking off the stem because I knew it would be too short. I used the stem from the A Hundred Wishes stamp set. Happy Mother's Day is from the Essential Sentiments stamp set.
Here's a closer look at this fun stamping technique.
My last card for today shows you how this set can be combined for an Easter card. I stamped the greenery along the bottom of my card. Added some grass layers from our Grass die. The eggs from our Eggstravaganza set are embossed in white ink on Bermuda and Orange cardstock and then die cut using our handy dandy egg die with positioning plate for perfect placement every time! Happy Easter from our Say It With Style stamp set is stamped in Berry ink
Tomorrow is April 1st and we've got some EXCITING news! No... it's not a prank! Stay tuned to learn how you could win FREE STAMPS FOR A YEAR! Exciting, right?!
