Happy Tuesday! It's a brilliant sunny day here in North Carolina and I hope you hare having a great day.
All month long we are celebrating A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA and I invite you to join in the fun. What is A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA? It's a celebration of all that welove about paper-crafting... and A Muse Studio!
This hobby means so much to so many and often we overlook how important it is in our lives. In my role as the CEO of A Muse Studio, I get to meet a LOT of papercrafters who share with me how much they LOVE this hobby of ours. There are many reasons... Today I'm asking YOU to sum it up in one word and we're going to have a fun little giveaway! Yippee!
Let's get on with the cards! Today I have fallen in love with my stamp positioner all over again! It's such a brilliant tool and it makes me look goooood - on paper! Don't have one? Oh my... better add one to your list! Don't forget, you'll receive 1 ticket for every $10 you spend this month and be entered into our amazing A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA drawings. 5 - $100 Shopping Sprees and a Year of FREE stamps! (Details on our website).
The stamp set that I'm featuring today is Under the Big top. The color palette for today's cards was inspired by this adorable shirt from Boden.
A Muse Studio colors: Grapefruit, Pebble, Wasabi, Mermaid and Sugar.
This first card was something I imagined a while ago. So happy to have finally brought this idea to life. I used our new Crepe Paper for her skirt. I cut a strip that was 2" wide by 1" high and gathered it along one edge. To adhere the crepe paper, I used a small strip of 1/4" Super Stick Red Double-side tape right on her waist. I then used my Quickie Glue Pen and added some Champagne glitter for a festive touch. I *love* the dimension this gives the card!
I hope you have at least one of our Mod Backgrounds stamp sets in your collection. They are so useful! I used a stamp from the Mod Backgrounds 2 stamp set to create the Grapefruit Pink patterned paper strip for the elephant to stand on. It was so easy to align the stamp using my stamp positioner. The elephant and balloon are stamped in Memento ink for coloring with COPIC markers.
This last card features our A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA host. He's fun to stamp and using a stamp positioner you can make him juggle, add fun sentiments, have him holding a baloon or two. He's a fun guy!
Enjoy your day and don't forget to post a comment and enter our giveaway!
