Hello! I hope your weekend is off to a great start. I've been busy working on indoor house projects today because it's kinda rainy here. I have a few quick and easy cards to share today. These are cards really simple cards to make. That's the way I like 'em!
This Modern Zinnia stamp set is one of my favorites. I love that this set has both a solid and an outline version. They work so well together. It's also great to have two sizes that work really well together.
For this first card, I stamped the solid zinnia in Shell ink on a white card base. I then added the outline zinnia in Berry ink. You can pair any sentiment with this card design - birthday, thank you, etc. This Hello stamp is from the Say it With Style stamp set and is stamped in Saffron ink. This easy, one-layer card takes just a few minutes to create. I stamped a bunch without adding a sentiment to keep in my stash.
While making the card above, I was playing around with different colored inks to see what would look nice and ended up stamping Hello a bunch of times on my A Muse Studio grid paper. Seeing those Hellos stamped together gave me the inspiration for this card.
It was really easy to stamp the Hellos evenly spaced by using my grid paper pad. I stamped once every 1/2". So easy!
My last card today was also inspired by my "practice" stamping on my grid paper trying to determine which inks to use on the first card. Don't you love how creative inspiration can come from anywhere? This is also an easy card to make. I stamped the outline zinnia in Berry ink down the center of the card and then filled in the sides with more zinnias. I had a white strip of cardstock from making my A1 card bases for the first two cards and knew it would be perfect for the thanks die. So easy!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
