Look! The daffodils are blooming in my garden... I didn't even know there were any back there. I just moved here in August so we have not yet experienced the seasons of the garden.
The cards I'm sharing today were inspired by this pretty flower and feature the He is Risen stamp set. This stamp set has a big, beautiful daffodil that can be used for so many cards.
If you've been following along for a few days, you'll know that I've been having fun with one-layer, water-colored cards. I just can't seem to stop! *lol* To create the watercolor effect on this card, I colored directly on the stamp with watercolor markers and then misted the stamp with water before I stamped it. To give the card more depth, I first stamped the daffodil on the card in Buttercup yellow a few times.
Here's a closer look at the watercoloring.
This next card is super simple but I just LOVE it! I simply stamped the daffodil in A Muse Studio Lime ink and it was perfect all on its own.
For this last card, I was trying to create a botanical print feel that is popular in home decor right now. I used the Script background to soften the look. The cardstock I used is Lichen, the inks are Saffron and Moss. The sentiment stamp is from the Graceful Greetings stamp set.
Here's a closer look... pretty!
And here's a quick recap.
And there you have it. Day two of my 80-day challenge. Bam! I hope you've been inspired by these cards. You should absolutely add this stamp set to your collection... you will NOT regret it.
Have a beautiful day!
